Did you know that Google has a feature where it can display your business address in multiple languages on Google Maps and local search results?

This means that if you have a local business, Google could show your address in English and the local language. Pretty cool, right?

For instance, in our example below, Google might display the address in French and English.

This was spotted by Stefan Somborac, who was searching for hotels.

And Here Is What He Has Written On Twitter:

“Here is Google Maps showing the address of a hotel in two languages!

The languages are French and English. The hotel sits on the outskirts of Montreal, Canada, where both languages are common.”

He Has Also Added That:

“Using “Suggest an edit” on Google Maps, business owners (or any Maps user) can add variations of a business name in multiple languages.

However, Google doesn’t show all the translations simultaneously, just the one that matches the user’s language settings.”

Let Us Explain This In Simple Terms

You’ve been able to edit the language of your address for some time now, but the new thing is that Google will now display it in multiple languages.

Previously, you could only have one name displayed in your profile, which was based on the searcher’s preferred language.

Some people say that seeing the address in multiple languages is a new feature, while others disagree.

However, the important thing to note is that you can’t manually edit the addresses in multiple languages; Google translates them automatically.
