Google is Likely to Roll Out an Update to 'Helpful Content System'

Get ready for more useful content on Google!

They’re updating their ‘Helpful Content System’ to show more personal & expert info in search results.

Last year Google developed this system to show more useful content to people instead of content made to attract clicks.

So, In The Next Few Months, Google Will Update This System To Get The Following:

  • What content is made by people who know what they’re talking about?
  • Who is sharing their personal experiences?

This means we can show even more of this super helpful info when you search for something.

According To Google, Here Are Things To Watch Out For👇

“We’re also improving how we rank results in Search overall, with a greater focus on content with unique expertise and experience.”

“Our helpful content ranking system will soon show more of these “hidden gems” on Search, particularly when we think they’ll improve the results.

“As we underscore the importance of “experience” as an element of helpful content, we continue our focus on information quality and critical attributes like authoritativeness, expertise and trustworthiness, so you can rely on the information you find.”

“A big part of what makes Search so helpful is its ability to connect you to the wisdom and experience of people all around the world. As we bring new advancements to Search, we’ll continue to help you find and explore content from others, whether it takes the form of a 30-second video, a deep-dive article or something in between.”

Takeaway

Simply put; quality content will get the top priority.

So, Google has this algorithm that’s all about making certain websites that are helpful to people get shown first in search results.

It will discourage websites from trying to trick search engines and boost those designed with humans in mind.

This update is expected soon. Once it is official, we will share it with you.

Moral of the story – Write for people, NOT for search engines.
