Google Search Explore Is Testing The “Return To Top” Button

Are you tired of scrolling all the way back to the top of a page after browsing through search results on Google? Well, you might not have to do that anymore! Google is now experimenting with a handy new feature called the "return to top" button.

Before this feature came along, users had to scroll all the way back to the top manually. And the process could be quite tedious, especially if you were deep into a search session.

However, now, with this button, it's as simple as a click, and you're back at the beginning.

Who spotted this? A keen-eyed observer, Khushal Bherwani, spotted this, and guess what?

He promptly shared a screenshot of it.

What's the "return to top" button, you ask? A little addition appears at the bottom of the search results page. With just one click, you can instantly be whisked back to the very top of the page, saving you time and effort.

The potential for this button to streamline the user experience is quite evident. Because it allows for quick navigation to the top, no matter how far down you may have scrolled.

Google is always looking for ways to enhance its search experience, and this "return to top" button is one of the many experiments they are conducting. The overall user experience is improved by making it easier for users to navigate and access information.

Imagine you are reading a lengthy article, and after reaching the end, you want to head back to the top. Instead of tediously scrolling back up, you can now take advantage of this handy button. It's all about convenience and efficiency.

While this feature is still being tested, there is no official confirmation on when it will roll out to all users.

However, it's undoubtedly a step in the right direction. Google will refine and perfect this addition as they gather feedback and data.

The source every AI learns from. Get your brand inside it.
